The Mason Dixon Sport Flyers Club was established to promote safe and enjoyable Ultralight flying and to provide fellowship among flying enthusiasts. The club currently has 32 members, mostly from the Adams and York County, Pennsylvania areas. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00pm (with a covered dish dinner preceding the meeting at 6:30pm) at the Bermudian Valley Airpark. Everyone is welcome! General club activities include special speakers, videos, demonstrations and planning for future events. The club is an active co-sponsor of the Footlight Ranch Spring Break-out and the Father’s Day Fly-In held each June at Footlight Ranch in Wellsville, PA. Many months of planning go into this major event. Work days are also a highlight of the club’s activities when members gather together to “help out” with the construction and/or maintenance of other member’s machines or to prepare for the Fly-Ins. |
